Job summary

Sovereign Network Group in Blandford Forum, Dorset, seeks an experienced Housing Officer to deliver tenancy, lease, and neighbourhood services. You will manage relationships with residents, colleagues, and partners while supporting the Dorset locality, including line management for four Scheme Officers.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration, and a customer-first mindset, with flexibility to work across office, home, and on-site visits. A full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tenancy, lease, or neighbourhood management.
• Line management experience is advantageous, but not essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative approach across teams and external stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of landlord services and applying it in practice.
• A customer-first mindset with a track record of positive outcomes.
• Confidence using digital tools to support service delivery.
• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Housing Officer to join our Blandford Team, covering the Dorset area.

Salary

Salary: £32,000.00 - £40,000.00 Per year

Location and Working Arrangements

Your office base will be Blandford, and you'll manage your own diary with a mix of working from home, office and out with our customers, colleagues and partner agencies.

Role

As a Housing Officer, you'll be the visible and proactive within your community. Working directly with residents, colleagues, and partners to deliver customer-focused services. You'll play a key role in tenancy, lease, and neighbourhood management, ensuring that our services are safe, compliant, and responsive. You’ll also have line management responsibilities for x4 Scheme Officers managing the Housing for Older People Schemes in the Dorset locality.

What we're looking for

• Previous line management experience is advantageous, but not essential
• Experience delivering tenancy, lease, or neighbourhood management services

• Good knowledge of landlord services and the ability to apply this in practice
• A customer-first mindset, with a track record of achieving positive outcomes
• Confidence using digital tools to support service delivery
• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
