Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Shrewsbury is seeking a Local Service Manager to lead a disability service, align with CQC standards, and drive outcomes for residents. You will manage a team, stakeholders, and budgets, while ensuring safety and personalised support in a not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in a managerial role within a similar service.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and support people in a personalised way.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and confidence working with partners.
• Confident using IT systems and experienced in supporting people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of the service and support your team.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets and oversee financial performance.
• Effectively manage and market homes/voids.
• Recruit, develop and motivate your team to achieve great outcomes.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and adapt working hours when needed.
