Job summary

Sanctuary Group, operating Sanctuary Supported Living, is seeking a Local Service Manager to lead and develop a new mental health supported living service at Park Lodge, London. You will oversee a team, ensure high-quality person-centred support, and drive recovery and wellbeing.

The role requires 12+ months managing Housing & Mental Health, strong leadership, safeguarding knowledge, and collaboration with professionals and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months’ experience in managing Housing & Mental Health services.
• Strong understanding of acute mental health conditions and recovery-focused approaches.
• Leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

We are excited to be launching a new supported living service for individuals with mental health needs and are looking for a passionate and experienced manager to lead and shape this service from the outset.

About the role:

As the Local Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and development of the service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, recovery, and wellbeing. You will lead a team of support staff, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual who is committed to delivering high-quality mental health support.

• Minimum of 12 months’ experience in managing Housing & Mental Health
• Excellent understanding of acute mental health conditions and recovery-focused approaches
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage teams and drive service quality
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory requirements

Qualification or background as a Mental Health Practitioner (e.g. RMN, Social Worker, OT)
