Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Lowestoft is seeking a Local Service Manager for Clover Court to lead the day-to-day running of a 20-person disability service, supported by a Deputy. You will manage a team of 50-60 staff, develop relationships with families, commissioners and partners, and ensure high standards of care, safety and regulatory compliance.

The role offers market salary (£44,471 rising to £46,694 after 12 months), a generous leave and pension package, and opportunities for career development

Qualifications

• Experience in a managerial role within a similar service.
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and support people in a personalised way.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and confidence working with partners.
• Confident using IT systems and experienced in supporting people with disabilities.
• Experience of complex rota and scheduling management, fluctuating to customer need.
• Experience of supporting people with complex health needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the service, supported by the Deputy Local Service Manager.
• Inspire and develop a dedicated team of approximately 50-60 staff to deliver outstanding care and support.
• Build strong relationships with customers, families, commissioners and partner agencies.
• Oversee budgeting and financial performance and marketing of empty homes.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and regulatory compliance.
