Local Retail & Business Development Manager - BMW Reading

Competitive basic salary + OTE circa £50k + Car

Full-time Monday - Friday

As a Local Business Development Manager, you will proactively seek new corporate vehicle sales opportunities, network effectively, and quickly develop new prospects. You will thrive on business-to-business sales challenges and be motivated by achieving sales targets.

What You’ll Do Day To Day

  • Plan and execute prospecting, direct marketing, and sales activities to promote the brand and develop sales to local business customers, including contract hire opportunities
  • Develop and implement a structured sales plan to meet site activity and sales targets
  • Ensure compliance with OEM audit standards and manage overall corporate processes at the site
  • Coach retail sales teams to deliver excellent service to business customers using corporate quoting systems and processes
  • Maintain CRM database with regular reports on activity, contacts, communications, and sales performance
  • Own sales objectives and coach teams to achieve targets
  • Work with the Corporate and New Car Sales Managers to report performance daily

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Motivated to exceed targets
  • Negotiation and influencing skills with sales closing ability
