Nationwide’s Exeter, Devon branch is seeking a Local Business Manager to be the local face of our Business Banking proposition. You’ll build trusted relationships with business customers, introducers and community networks to identify and progress new opportunities.

This permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday) focuses on delivering great customer outcomes, supporting onboarding, servicing and lending decisions within delegated authority, and developing local business

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering excellent customer outcomes in a customer-focused role within a regulated environment.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and understand customer needs.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with a wide range of customers and colleagues.
• Skilled in identifying customer needs and connecting customers with the most appropriate products, services or support.
• Good judgement and decision-making skills, balancing customer outcomes with effective risk management.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, customer relationships and follow-up activity in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of working accurately and compliantly within regulatory requirements and risk frameworks.
• A willingness to learn and develop Business Banking knowledge and capability.

• Support customers throughout their relationship with Nationwide, from onboarding to servicing, owning the customer journey.
• Develop knowledge to make lending decisions within delegated authority; receive training and coaching.
• Help branch colleagues build Business Banking knowledge and confidence.
• Ensure outcomes for customers while managing risk and complying with conduct requirements.
