Nationwide in Exeter is seeking a Local Business Manager to be the local face of our Business Banking proposition. You’ll build trusted relationships with local business customers and community networks to identify and progress new opportunities.

This permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday) offers a strong benefits package and a chance to contribute to our customer-first approach across the branch and local market.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer outcomes in a customer-focused role within a regulated environment.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and understand customer needs.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with a wide range of customers and colleagues.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, customer relationships and follow-up activity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Support customers across onboarding and servicing, owning the customer journey to ensure good outcomes.
• Develop knowledge and confidence to make lending decisions within delegated authority.
• Help branch colleagues build Business Banking knowledge and confidence to recognise opportunities for products and services.
• Ensure compliance with conduct and regulatory requirements while delivering excellent customer outcomes.
