Job summary

DPD is seeking a local route driver for the Glasgow area to own a designated local route, delivering 40–50 stops daily with safe, reliable service. You will navigate in a 7.5 Tonne vehicle and use Saturn handheld devices to manage deliveries in real time.

You are the friendly face customers rely on, handling loading with sack barrows and hand trucks while maintaining a professional, upbeat attitude throughout daily operations.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Experience: ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Vibe: you're professional, approachable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fitness: you're physically active and comfortable with the lifting involved in the job.
• Values: you care about doing a good job and treat customers and colleagues with respect.

Responsibilities

• Drive the designated local route, delivering parcels with safe, efficient driving.
