Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Settlements & Servicing Analyst in Glasgow. You will support the Loan Trading Settlements team with processing, review and issue resolution, while working with trading desks, clients and counterparties to manage settlements, asset servicing and trade lifecycles.

The role emphasises risk controls, regulatory compliance and collaboration across bank teams in a fast-paced environment. A hybrid model requires three in-office days per week in Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Experience within investment banking operations, ideally supporting credit or loan asset classes, trading desks, settlements or reconciliation activity.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate breaks, resolve discrepancies and identify operational risks.
• Good understanding of reconciliations, financial products or processes in financial services.
• Confident communication and stakeholder management with desks, internal teams and clients.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced regulated environment with strong risk and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, and issue resolution.
• Monitor lending operations for efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate across teams to align Wholesale Lending processes.
• Identify improvements and recommend changes to procedures and controls.
• Develop reports and present findings to senior stakeholders.
