Job summary

Millers Vanguard is seeking a Field Service Engineer for loading bay equipment across the UK. You will diagnose faults on scissor lifts, dock levellers and related assets, performing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding, part replacements and urgent breakdown support.

In addition to completing scheduled PPMs to SLA standards, you will ensure PUWER/LOLER safety compliance and maintain strong customer service while coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• High degree of flexibility in working hours and job types.
• Advanced understanding of loading bay equipment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair faults on loading bay equipment.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding and part replacement.
• Complete scheduled PPM to SLA standards and maintain safety compliance.
• Provide professional customer service and clear communication with internal teams.
