Job summary

UK Forks, a division of VP plc, seeks a skilled Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair telehandlers and hire equipment at customer sites across the region.

You will be the frontline ambassador for customers, delivering high standards of service, troubleshooting on-site, and completing accurate service records.

Travel to customer sites is required; a mechanical background, practical problem solving, and a valid driving licence are essential. We offer training and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and servicing plant equipment including Telehandlers.
• A recognised mechanical qualification in mechanical plant or agricultural engineering.
• Practical problem solver with initiative.
• Competent communicator with excellent customer service.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Well organised with time management.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machines to high standards.
• Serve as frontline representative for customers and build relationships.
• Carry out maintenance and servicing on-site with customers.
• Offer breakdown resolutions and effective repair service.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during site visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and customer interactions.
