Job summary

Aprolis UK is recruiting a field service engineer to join a busy area, reporting to the local service manager. You will diagnose faults, service and perform emergency repairs on materials handling equipment, working independently on customer sites.

Responsibilities include reading manuals, preparing parts, ensuring safety, completing documentation, and communicating clearly with customers and colleagues to keep equipment in full working order.

Qualifications

• In-depth mechanical/electrical/hydraulics knowledge.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• English language at an intermediate level (A2).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform servicing and emergency repairs on equipment.
• Prepare parts, tools and consumables for jobs.
• Complete documentation and reports accurately.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.
• Work safely on customer sites and maintain professional standards.
