Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting for a Service Delivery Manager to lead the site-based engineering team in Liverpool, ensuring daily maintenance, safety, and service standards are met for the client. You will coordinate with helpdesk, drive performance, and manage client relationships.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and adherence to HSE and QA procedures. An engaging, proactive management approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong understanding of building services and technical infrastructure.
• Experience supervising or managing an engineering maintenance team.
• Experience driving continuous improvement in engineering and maintenance standards.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures.
• Supervising, supporting and developing operational teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management and supervision of the site-based engineering team to meet maintenance standards and service levels.
• Manage operational performance of technical services across the site and KPI targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with the client and act as a key contact for service delivery.
• Coordinate with Helpdesk and engineering team to ensure tasks are closed out with clear job sheets and documentation.
• Lead, support and develop the engineering team to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Act as escalation point for operational and technical issues and drive resolution.
• Identify practical solutions to technical challenges and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure high standard of service delivery to the client and alignment with contract requirements.
