Job summary

Blue Chip Building in the City of London seeks an Engineering Services Manager to lead the on-site maintenance team, ensure M&E services are delivered to a high standard and minimise disruption to operations. The role sits on a high profile contract within a prestigious commercial setting near Liverpool Street.

You will manage three engineers, an admin and an apprentice, issue permits to work, oversee KPI/SLA performance, and drive health and safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline (C&G/HNC/HND or higher).
• Strong understanding of building management systems.
• Experience managing contractors in high-profile commercial environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site maintenance team of engineers, admin and an apprentice.
• Oversee all technical issues related to ongoing maintenance works.
• Issue permits to work and manage KPI and SLA performance.
• Ensure H&S and environmental standards are met on site.
• Plan and implement shutdowns and manage reports.
