Job summary
Medicare People Limited in Edenbridge is seeking a dedicated Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to provide one-to-one support in clients' homes, promoting independence and well-being. You will work in clients' familiar surroundings, delivering compassionate, person-centred care and building trusted relationships with those you assist.
We offer flexible placements to fit your availability, ongoing support from care managers, and a welcoming team culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months UK care experience.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience administering medication is desirable.
- Previous live-in care experience welcomed but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Support clients to remain independent in their own homes.
- Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
- Assist with washing, dressing and personal care.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Help with mobility and daily routines.
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration.
- Administer medication safely and accurately.
- Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Complete shopping and other essential errands.
- Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns.
- Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
