Medicare People Limited is seeking a dedicated Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Epsom to provide compassionate in-home care, helping clients maintain independence and wellbeing.

You will deliver personalised care, companionship, and assistance with daily routines, meals, and mobility. The role requires reliability, strong communication, and a caring attitude, with opportunities across Epsom and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Previous professional care experience is preferred.
• Caring, patient and compassionate nature.
• Ability to work independently in a client's home.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to adapt to different clients and care needs.
• Reliability and a professional attitude.
• Commitment to person-centred care.
• Experience supporting daily living activities.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Medication administration experience is desirable.
• Live-in care experience welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised care tailored to individual needs.
• Provide companionship and build trusted relationships.
• Assist with personal care and daily routines.
• Support safe mobility and moving and handling.
• Prepare meals and drinks throughout the day.
• Administer medication according to care plans.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry and household tasks.
• Support clients with shopping and prescription collection.
• Observe and report changes in health or wellbeing.
• Work alongside families and healthcare professionals.
• Keep care documentation accurate and up to date.
• Help clients maintain dignity, independence and choice.
