Live-In Care Coordinator - Maternity Cover in Glastonbury, Somerset. Full-time, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, salaried role with office-based rostering and admin duties. Temporary maternity cover until July/August 2027; salary £25,818.24.

Role involves coordinating bookings, supporting clients and self-employed carers, and maintaining high service standards. Flexible to split into two part-time roles for right candidates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within care or coordination.
• Experience working to tight deadlines and managing competing priorities.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the allocation of clients and self-employed live-in care workers, ensuring bookings are arranged accurately and communicated clearly.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and care workers regarding their bookings, providing friendly, professional and responsive support.
• Keep rostering system accurate and up to date, recording all client and care worker information and changes.
• Build strong, positive relationships with care workers and clients, providing excellent customer service at every stage.
• Support onboarding of new clients and care workers, ensuring systems and digital files are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Handle telephone calls and emails, helping to resolve queries and keep the service running smoothly.
• Coordinate and send PPE orders to clients and care workers as required.
• Send registration information to new self-employed live-in care workers and process documentation.
• Work closely with colleagues across the Office Team to solve problems and manage changes to ensure best service.
• Represent and uphold Candlelight's values of independence, choice, dignity and respect, enabling clients to stay safely at home.
