Job summary

Candlelight Care is seeking a Live-In Care Coordinator on a temporary maternity cover basis. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with a salary of £25,818.24. It could be split into two part-time roles if desired.

Based in our UK office, the role focuses on rostering and administration to ensure high-quality, client-centered care. You'll coordinate bookings, support clients and self-employed live-in carers, and work with the Office Team to maintain smooth operations and exceptional

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care, coordination, or a similar role.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and similar systems.
• Experience using rostering or scheduling software is desirable.
• Flexible, reliable, proactive, and confidential.
• Calm, solution-focused under pressure.
• Compassionate, professional, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate allocation of clients and live-in care workers and communicate bookings clearly.
• Be the main contact for clients and care workers regarding bookings.
• Keep rostering system accurate with up-to-date information.
• Build strong relationships with care workers and clients.
• Assist onboarding of new clients and workers.
• Handle calls and emails to resolve queries and keep service running smoothly.
• Coordinate and send PPE orders as required.
• Prepare and manage registration docs for new workers.
• Collaborate with Office Team to ensure service quality.
• Uphold Candlelight values of independence, dignity and respect.
