Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a motivated Litigation Handler to manage EL and PL claims for public sector clients from issue to trial, including small, fast, and multi-track matters. You will work with Partners as needed.

The role requires assessing liability, setting reserves, negotiating with insurers and third parties, applying Civil Procedure Rules, and ensuring data integrity and timely delivery of outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires Law degree and LPC.
• Experience in EL/PL litigation and personal injury claims.
• Experience in defence claims handling within insurer/TPA environment.
• Able to work independently within a defined structure.

Responsibilities

• Defend EL/PL claims from issue to trial for clients.
• Handle small, fast, and multi-track claims with support to Partners.
• Assess liability, set reserves, and investigate third-party merits.
• Negotiate with third parties and insurers to achieve best outcomes.
• Apply Civil Procedure Rules and maintain compliance with KPIs.
