Clarity Solicitors is recruiting a paralegal assistant to join the personal injury litigation team in Stockport. The role will support a team of Solicitors and experienced lawyers, involving phone contact with clients and chasing instructions, along with routine updates by telephone and email, and trial preparation.

Opportunities to develop legal research skills and insight into litigation will follow for the right candidate. Office experience is advantageous; a Law Degree would be a bonus.

I am recruiting for a paralegal assistant to join my personal injury litigation team to provide support across the Part 7 litigation team. The team's work is varied and ranges from disputed road traffic accidents through to more complex higher value or non-motor claims.

The role will involve supporting the whole team which comprises of a mix of Solicitors, and other lawyers with decades of experience.

Telephone client contact is crucial to the role to deal new enquiries and chasing instructions for the team. Thereafter, there will be work with telephone and email communications with routine updates, ensure attendance at appointments, as well as working alongside the lead lawyers assisting with trial preparation. Opportunities to develop legal research skills and develop insight into the litigation process will follow with experience of the role for the right candidate.

The team is a friendly and supportive which will provide a great place for the ideal candidate to develop their skills either as an aspiring lawyer or for someone who wants to specialise as a litigation assistant.

Previous office experience is a strong advantage, and some personal injury experience would be ideal, but not essential. A Law Degree would be a bonus, but the key requirement is someone who is keen, organised, and diligent who will provide excellent support to the team and our clients.

The role is fully 'in-office' in Stockport with on-site parking. No agencies.
