Job summary

A well-established and growing law firm in Manchester is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its litigation team.

You will assist with a range of litigation matters and be responsible for tasks including: reviewing new claims, drafting documents, communicating with clients and managing case files. Salary up to £26,000, 25 days' annual leave, and office-based working, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• A law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Previous paralegal experience or work in a legal claims environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

A well-established and growing law firm in Manchester is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its litigation team.

The firm handles a varied caseload of consumer and commercial disputes and is looking for a motivated individual who is comfortable managing a busy workload, working closely with senior fee earners and progressing matters from initial assessment through to resolution.

The Role

You will assist with a range of litigation matters and be responsible for tasks including:

• Drafting correspondence, witness statements, applications and other legal documents;
• Communicating with clients, solicitors, Counsel and third parties;
• Managing case files, deadlines, hearings and key documentation;

• Maintaining accurate records and updating the firm's case management system;

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A law degree or equivalent legal qualification;
• Previous experience working as a paralegal or within a legal claims environment;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;

Experience managing your own files or working within litigation, financial disputes or consumer claims would be advantageous, but is not essential.
