Job description

Job Title: Litigation Executive - Civil Litigation

Salary: £35,000 to £50,000

Location: Sheffield (with hybrid working)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

1. Manage a broad civil litigation caseload, including disputes such as boundary and land disputes, professional negligence, property damage, debt recovery, and contract disputes for both individual and commercial clients.
2. Conduct case reviews involving disputed liability, complex issues, rejected settlements, or additional evidence needs, and contribute to case strategies.
3. Oversee routine administrative tasks to ensure efficient and compliant case management.
4. Attend court hearings and conferences, prepare briefing materials, and instruct counsel or experts as needed, covering all stages from instruction to resolution or trial.
