Job summary

Service Care Solutions is working with a well-established Scottish law firm seeking a Solicitor with 2+ PQE to join its Litigation team in Edinburgh. You will manage your own caseload across housing litigation, repossession, debt recovery, and Court of Session matters, with support from senior colleagues when needed.

Candidates should have civil litigation experience, strong drafting and communication skills, advocacy ability, and a proactive, collaborative approach to progress their practice

Qualifications

• 2+ PQE Solicitor with civil litigation experience.
• Experience managing your own contentious caseload.
• Strong drafting and communication skills.
• Confident in dealing with clients and providing clear, commercial advice.
• Advocacy experience or strong advocacy potential.
• Ability to work independently with a collaborative approach to support juniors.

Your work is likely to include:

• Civil Sheriff Court matters
• Court of Session work
• Alternative dispute resolution
• Advising social housing providers and other clients

You’ll be trusted to manage your own caseload while having access to support from experienced colleagues when required.
