Job summary

Iconic Resourcing Ltd. is assisting an established Edinburgh litigation team to recruit a Senior Solicitor / Associate with at least 2 years’ PQE to join our Dispute Resolution practice on a hybrid basis.

You will handle civil litigation matters across housing, repossessions, Sheriff Court and Court of Session work, with mentoring from Partners and opportunities to develop your client base and advance your career.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil litigation with the confidence to manage own caseload and deliver commercially focused advice.
• Strong drafting skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

Solicitor - Dispute Resolution

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)

Salary: £52,000 to £60,000 plus Benefits

An established and growing litigation team is looking to appoint a Senior Solicitor / Associate with at least 2 years’ PQE to join its Edinburgh office.

This is an opportunity to work closely with Partners on a varied caseload of civil litigation, housing and dispute resolution matters, while playing an active role in the continued growth of the team.

Working with a broad range of clients, including social housing providers, you’ll handle matters spanning repossessions, debt recovery, Sheriff Court litigation, Court of Session proceedings and alternative dispute resolution. You’ll have the support of an experienced wider team while being given the scope to manage your own cases, develop client relationships and build your practice.

What we’re looking for

You’ll have experience in civil litigation, with the confidence to manage your own caseload and deliver clear, commercially focused advice. Strong drafting skills, effective communication and the ability to build trusted client relationships are essential.

You’ll also enjoy working collaboratively, supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the wider team. This would suit someone ambitious to progress their career, take on greater responsibility and play a part in the ongoing development of a growing practice.
