NCR Voyix in Bath, UK is seeking an L2 Support Engineer (Linux) to join our 24x7 monitoring and deployment team. You will support our virtualized store infrastructure software and collaborate with global retailers and restaurants.

The role requires solid Linux expertise, customer-facing communication, and the ability to troubleshoot across servers and networks. The position offers hybrid working from Bath with a base salary of 35K GBP plus 15% shift allowances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in IT operations or support with Linux.
• Solid knowledge of core internet technologies and networking.
• Strong written and spoken communication; customer-facing experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and apply new technologies; problem solving focus.

Responsibilities

• Answer emails, calls and chats in a positive, professional manner.
• Record problems, spot trends, and provide technical IT support.
• Monitor SDS software and infrastructure; escalate to Operations as needed.
• Manage Windows and Linux servers; assist with deployment and patching.
• Onboard new staff; maintain up-to-date product knowledge and customer satisfaction.
