Job summary

Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherd’s Bush is seeking a Linen Porter to support our housekeeping team. You will deliver clean linen and towels to floors, keep linen cupboards stocked, and assist guests with requests, especially during peak periods. This on-site role requires physical stamina and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

All applicants must have rights to work in the UK. Training is provided and growth opportunities exist within our hospitality team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen and towels to each floor. Collect used items and return them to the laundry on time and in good order.
• Maintain neat and fully stocked linen cupboards. Report shortages or damaged stock quickly and clearly.
• Support the housekeeping team – assist with guest requests, set up extra beds or cots, deliver items like irons and towels, and keep supplies ready during peak periods.
• Maintain back-of-house spaces – keep storerooms, corridors, and service areas clean, clear and safe at all times. Help dispose of rubbish and recycling responsibly.
• Report and respond – inform your supervisor about broken items, equipment faults, or urgent guest needs.
• Stay safe: follow all manual handling, hygiene, safety, and COSHH procedures.
