Job summary

Hotel Indigo K West Shepherd's Bush is seeking a Linen Porter to support the housekeeping team by delivering fresh linen and towels, stocking cupboards, and ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. You’ll contribute to a welcoming, well-kept environment and help guests enjoy a seamless stay.

The role requires a positive attitude, ability to work independently and with a team, and willingness to work varied shifts; experience in housekeeping or laundry is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen and towels to each floor, collect used items and return them to laundry on time.
• Keep linen cupboards neat, organized and fully stocked; report shortages or damaged stock clearly.
• Assist housekeeping with guest requests and delivery of items like irons and extra beds.
• Maintain back-of-house spaces; keep storerooms, corridors and service areas clean and safe.
• Report broken items or urgent guest needs to supervisor; be the extra set of eyes on the floor.
• Follow manual handling, hygiene, safety and COSHH procedures for a safe environment.

A Day in Your Neighbourhood

• Handle the essentials - Deliver clean linen and towels to each floor. Collect used items and return them to the laundry on time and in good order.


• Keep it organised - Maintain neat and fully stocked linen cupboards. Report any shortages or damaged stock quickly and clearly.
