Job summary

Greencore Group plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a production operative to prepare ingredients and assist with setting up the production lines for ready meals. You will move ingredients from chilled and packaging stores to multiple lines and ensure the correct utensils are used to prevent cross-contamination.

Full training will be provided, with a focus on food safety, cleanliness, and teamwork. Shift pattern Monday to Friday 23:00-07:00, with a pay rate of £15.27 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturer preferred.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients as instructed by the Senior Operator.
• Assist with setting up the production lines.
• Collect ingredients and equipment from chilled and packaging stores to multiple lines promptly.
• Ensure the correct utensils are used for meat/veg/allergen meals to prevent cross-contamination.
• Machines are cleaned after each use.

Job description

Prepare ingredients as instructed by the Senior Operator Mixing parts of meals such as rice mixes in tumblers, ensuring that machines used is cleaned accordingly after each use. Assist with setting up the production lines Collecting the correct ingredients and equipment from chilled and packaging stores to multiple lines timely and efficiently Making sure that the correct Utensils are being used for Meat/veg/allergen meals, to prevent cross-contamination
Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience: Experience working within a food manufacturer preferred Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
