Greencore Group plc in Consett is hiring a Heat Sealer to set up and run a heat sealer on multiple production lines. The role includes programming, safety checks, and ongoing maintenance to ensure sealing integrity per product specs. Training is provided and a Monday to Friday shift pattern applies.

Pay rate is £13.28 per hour with benefits. The role requires good literacy, numeracy, and allergen awareness as part of strict food hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Program, perform safety checks and maintain the machine.
• Replace sealing film when required and set up the correct sealing head.
• Complete required checks and monitor the heat sealer on multiple lines.
• Ensure sealing integrity meets customer specifications during the run.
• Clean the heat sealer at the end of each run and maintain hygiene.
• Complete traceability paperwork in line with product specs and requirements.

In this role as a Heat sealer, you will be responsible for the set up and operation of the heat sealer machine. This role will involve programming, safety checks and continuous maintenance of the machine. Duties of these roles include: Heatsealer Responsible for replacing sealing film when required Setting up the correct sealing head for the selected meal according to the days scheduled plan Completing required checks and monitoring of the heat sealer machine throughout the shift on multiple lines Ensuring sealing integrity is to customer specification throughout the production run Cleaning the heat sealer machine at the end of each run Completion of traceability paperwork in line with product specification and requirements Conforming to all food hygiene requirements as well as adhering to Health and Safety legislation

Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience: Experience working within a food manufacturer preferred Good Literacy and Numeracy skills

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:00 / 15:00 - 23:00 rotating
