Job summary

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest is hiring a Line Cook / Junior Chef de Partie for Huck's American Bar and Grill. You will prepare, cook and present menu items to high standards, supervise Kitchen Assistants and assist in kitchen operations when the Kitchen Manager is absent.

This full-time role offers £13.86 per hour plus tips, shifts 10:00–23:00, with a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period, and benefits such as free day passes, discounts, a bonus scheme and training.

Qualifications

• Kitchen Assistant experience required.
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues.
• Naturally cheerful, patient and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes to high standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety compliance.
• Manage stock, cost targets and portion control.
• Support menu development and assist Kitchen Managers with procedures and standards.
