Job summary

Center Parcs in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager / Senior Chef de Partie for Takeaway Whinfell Forest, with a circa £34,200 per annum salary plus tips. The role is full-time with shifts 1:30pm–11:00pm, guaranteed minimum 150 hours over 4 weeks, and includes evenings/weekends.

You will assist in running a fast‑paced kitchen, control costs and ensure high food quality for guests staying on site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial awareness including stock control, scheduling and waste management.
• Previous supervisory chef role (Chef de Partie or above).
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the kitchen team and daily operations.
• Control food costs and margins to meet budget targets.
• Maintain high food quality and guest satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and prepare dishes to agreed standards.
