Job summary

Egis is seeking a Portfolio Manager to deliver a £13m annual programme of lighting asset replacement across the M25. You will lead a team of Project Managers, overseeing around 60 projects yearly, ensuring safe, cost-effective delivery and adherence to design, design development, construction and handover stages.

Applicants should have PMP/AMP PMQ or equivalent, NEC3/NEC4 familiarity, and a relevant engineering or construction background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• PMP or AMP PMQ or equivalent certification.
• Experience delivering a multi-project programme in a matrix organisation.

Responsibilities

• Monthly reporting schedule including PSR/CPM; ensure inputs are on time.
• Lead AMFP and AAMR processes; confirm interface commitments.
• Oversee monthly forecast meetings and provide robust, aligned updates.
• Governance through gateway process; ensure consistent presentation packs.
• Monitor PM workloads and reallocate resources as needed.
• Maintain strong Stakeholder Management with Asset Team and clients.
• Ensure DBFO contract compliance; manage risks and maintain records including change control.
• Identify and escalate emerging risks and dependencies; implement solutions.
• Uphold high safety standards and promote behavioural safety across teams.
• Build relationships with other Asset Delivery Managers and teams to meet project requirements.
