Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Portfolio Manager to deliver a £13m annual programme of lighting asset replacement across the M25. You will lead a matrix team of Project Managers, directing 60+ projects yearly from initial design through to handover, ensuring safety, cost effectiveness and timely delivery.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, PMP/AMP PMQ, and NEC3/NEC4 knowledge, with strong stakeholder and budget management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering a programme of projects of comparable value.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams in a matrix organisation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or relevant field OR equivalent industry experience.
• Certifications: PMP or AMP PMQ and knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 Contracts.
• Preference for HNC / HND in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a £13m annual programme of asset replacement projects across the M25.
• Lead a team of Project Managers and oversee ~60 projects per year.
• Oversee full lifecycle from investigation and design through to construction and handover.
• Maintain strong stakeholder management and regular governance reporting.
• Ensure safety leadership and compliance with CDM and H&S requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces with external resources and manage budget controls.
• Support risk management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
