Job summary

Egis Group seeks a Portfolio Manager for PDA Linea­r & Street Lighting on the M25. You will lead a team delivering a £13m annual programme of asset replacement, directing circa 60 projects yearly across one of the UK's busiest motorways.

You will manage design through to handover, coordinating with contractors, stakeholders and the client to ensure safe, efficient delivery. The role requires strong leadership in a matrix organisation, PMP/AMP PMQ certification, and solid NEC3/NEC4 contract

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering a programme of comparable value
• Strong leadership in a matrix organisation
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
• Bachelor’s degree or suitable level of industry experience
• PMI PMP or AMP PMQ certification
• Good working knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 Contracts
• Preference for HNC/HND in construction discipline
• Broad knowledge of other design areas
• Understanding of environmental requirements of schemes
• Experience coordinating interfaces with external resources
• Understanding of HS requirements relating to highway construction and maintenance
• Knowledge of CDM and H&S legislation
• Team leadership and performance management experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial understanding and budgetary control
• Understanding of Lean principles

Responsibilities

• Lead a matrix team to deliver ~60 projects annually on a major motorway network
• Oversee project lifecycle from investigation/design to construction and handover
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance across the portfolio
• Provide monthly reporting and forecast updates with robust input
• Manage interfaces with Asset Delivery Managers and stakeholders
