Job summary

GI Group Main Account is seeking an Internal Sales Representative - Lighting to join their team and drive customer relationships in the UK lighting wholesale market. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries, handling orders, pricing, and quotations while supporting the external sales force.

The role requires 1–2 years in sales or customer service, excellent communication, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a sales, customer service, internal sales, or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
• Provide product information, pricing, and availability updates.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations tailored to customer requirements.
• Follow up quotations to maximise sales opportunities and secure orders.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Book supplier deliveries into the ERP system.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to ensure on-time dispatch.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Support external sales team with reporting, lead tracking, and administration.
• Keep CRM records up to date with accurate sales activity data.
• Resolve customer queries and issues promptly and professionally.
