Gi Group is seeking an Internal Sales Representative - Lighting for an office-based role in Beaumont Leys, Leicester. You will respond to customer enquiries, provide product information and quotations, process orders, and support the external sales team to drive growth.

The role requires 1–2 years in sales or customer service, strong communication, and high attention to detail. Salary is experience-based with a discretionary bonus and standard office hours.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years' experience in sales or customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email, and online channels.
• Providing product information, pricing, and availability updates.
• Preparing accurate and competitive quotations tailored to customer requirements.
• Following up quotations to maximise sales opportunities and secure orders.
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Booking supplier deliveries into the ERP system.
• Coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure on-time dispatch.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Supporting the external sales team with reporting, lead tracking, and administration.
• Keeping CRM records up to date and maintaining accurate sales activity data.
• Resolving customer queries and issues promptly and professionally.
