Job summary

A lifting equipment company in Aberdeen seeks a qualified individual to perform recertification, inspection, and examination of lifting equipment and accessories. The role requires a LEEA Lifting equipment qualification and experience in the rigging/lifting business. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, preparing reports, and assisting with inventory control. Qualifications

• Must have a LEEA Lifting equipment qualification.
• Experience in a similar role within the last 2 years.
• Previous experience in rigging/lifting business.

Responsibilities

• Recertification, inspection, and examination of lifting equipment and accessories.
• Overall responsibility for testing, maintenance, and repair of lifting equipment.
• Carry out goods receipt inspection of new lifting equipment and accessories.
• Complete daily records of equipment inspected and prepare NDT reports.
• Assist with storage, receiving, dispatching, distribution, and inventory control.
• Liaise with the office on clients’ needs for their orders and the upcoming mobilization and demobilization of orders.
• Assist with loading and unloading of containers and Rigging lofts.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in the workshop/warehouse area.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels to ensure satisfactory information transfer.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Management.

Job description

• Overall responsibility for the testing, maintenance and repair of AMOS owned, and client owned lifting equipment.
• Carry out goods receipt inspection of new supply lifting equipment and accessories.
