Job summary

SL Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Lifting Equipment Engineer to inspect, service and repair lifting equipment both on-site and in the company workshop.

You will work with chains, slings, shackles, manual and powered hoists, and lifting beams, ensuring adherence to LOLER and PUWER regulations while delivering high safety and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience inspecting, servicing or repairing lifting equipment.
• Good knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
• Experience working with lifting components and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair lifting equipment both on-site and in the workshop.
• Ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations during all work.
• Diagnose faults and carry out appropriate maintenance to maintain safety and performance.
