Job summary

GAP Lifting Hire & Sales is seeking a Lifting Engineer to service and maintain lifting equipment at the GAP Lifting depot. You will diagnose faults, update service records, and complete test certificates, while keeping the workshop area clean and tidy.

The role requires depot experience, ability to work independently, a customer-focused approach and attention to detail; a LEEA qualification is highly desirable and a driving licence is preferable.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Lifting Engineer/Fitter or mechanically biased role within a busy depot environment.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing lifting equipment faults would be desirable.
• LEEA qualification is highly desirable.
• Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members when required.
• A customer-focussed approach to their work and strong attention to detail.
• Valid driving licence is preferable.
