Job summary

Workshop Recruitment is seeking a Lifting Equipment / LOLER Engineer to work across customer sites in England. This field-based role offers excellent earning potential, ongoing training, and genuine career progression opportunities.

The successful candidate will perform LOLER inspections, service and repair equipment, and ensure compliance with regulations. Qualifications

• Experience working as a Lifting Equipment / LOLER Engineer or within mechanical engineering.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out LOLER inspections and thorough examinations.
• Service and repair hoists, slings, shackles, and gantries.
• Ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
• Complete inspection reports and certification accurately.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service on site.

Skills

Lifting Equipment / LOLER Engineer experience

Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations

Strong fault-finding and mechanical skills

Good written communication for inspection reports

Ability to work independently

Education

NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification
