Job summary

Stirling Warrington is seeking a Lift Technician to join our regional North and Midlands team. This role covers Scotland and surrounding regions, with a focus on maintenance, fault finding and installation support.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3/4 in Lift Engineering and over two years of lift service experience, with the ability to travel extensively and work autonomously on customer sites. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 and NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering are required.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Lift Service/ Maintenance.
  • Proficient with fault finding, diagnosis and repair on Passenger and Goods lifts.

Responsibilities

  • Attend lifts that need fixing and troubleshoot.
  • Attend consultancy meetings to discuss technical work.
  • Attend lift breakdowns and undertake planned servicing and maintenance work.
  • Providing Service and PPM work at customer sites.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times as you’re a company ambassador on site.
  • Technical work and visits.
  • Travelling throughout the coverage area.

We are a well-known and established Lift Service, Installation and Repair company. Due to our ever-growing lift service portfolio, we are looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover Scotland.

Key Responsibilities of the successful Lift Technician
  • Attend lifts that need fixing and troubleshoot
  • Attend consultancy meetings to discuss technicial work
  • Attend lift breakdowns and undertake planned servicing and maintenance work.
  • Providing Service and PPM work at customer sites
  • Maintain a professional image at all times as youre a company ambassador on site
  • Technical work and visits
  • Travelling throughout the coverage area
Key requirements of the successful Lift Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 and NVQ Level 4qualified in Lift Engineering
  • 2 years of experience in a Lift Service / Maintenance Engineer position
  • Relevant qualifications for the position, e.g. J Modules
  • Proficient with fault finding, diagnosis and repair on either/both Passenger and Goods lifts
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and organised
  • Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel with the role
