Job summary

Stirling Warrington seeks a Lift Technician to service and repair lifts across Scotland and nearby regions. You will diagnose faults, perform servicing and respond to breakdowns, while representing the company professionally at customer sites.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 and 4 in Lift Engineering, with at least two years in lift service/maintenance, and a full UK driving licence. Expect travel and a dynamic field-based role with strong safety norms.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 and NVQ Level 4 qualified in Lift Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years in Lift Service/Maintenance roles.
  • Relevant qualifications such as J Modules.
  • Proficient in fault finding, diagnosis and repair for Passenger and Goods lifts.
  • Self-motivated, reliable and well-organised.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Attend lifts needing repair and troubleshoot.
  • Attend consultancy meetings to discuss technical work.
  • Attend lift breakdowns and perform planned servicing and maintenance.
  • Provide service and PPM work at customer sites.

We are a well-known and established Lift Service, Installation and Repair company. Due to our ever-growing lift service portfolio, we are looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover Scotland.

Key Responsibilities of the successful Lift Technician
  • Attend lifts that need fixing and troubleshoot
  • Attend consultancy meetings to discuss technicial work
  • Attend lift breakdowns and undertake planned servicing and maintenance work.
  • Providing Service and PPM work at customer sites
  • Maintain a professional image at all times as youre a company ambassador on site
  • Technical work and visits
  • Travelling throughout the coverage area
Key requirements of the successful Lift Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 and NVQ Level 4qualified in Lift Engineering
  • 2 years of experience in a Lift Service / Maintenance Engineer position
  • Relevant qualifications for the position, e.g. J Modules
  • Proficient with fault finding, diagnosis and repair on either/both Passenger and Goods lifts
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and organised
  • Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel with the role
