Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Technical Support Officer - Lifts in Newham to support the Communal Lift Service. The role focuses on delivering administrative and operational tasks within housing property services, ensuring safety and compliance across the portfolio.

You will coordinate servicing and inspections, monitor statutory timelines, and act as a resident contact, contributing to high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A-Level education or equivalent experience in housing, business administration, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of administrative processes and compliance management.
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience in a housing or property services environment is essential.
• Experience providing administrative support within housing, compliance, repairs, maintenance or property services.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Communal Lift Service.
• Coordinate lift servicing, inspections, and maintenance activities across the Council's housing portfolio.
• Monitor compliance activities to ensure timely completion of statutory inspections and servicing programmes.
• Engage with lift contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Act as a point of contact for residents regarding lift-related inquiries, promoting excellent customer service.
