Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading property and estate management organisation for a Lift & Escalator Operations Support professional to join their team at a major commercial estate in Canary Wharf.

This office-based role supports the Lift & Escalator Services Manager by ensuring lifts and escalators are safe, compliant, reliable and operate to a high standard, with emphasis on coordination, contractor management and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in lift & escalator industry or building services.
• Good understanding of lift & escalator systems, LOLER requirements and industry standards.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with Health & Safety legislation, statutory requirements, CDM and permit-to-work procedures.
• Review contractor RAMS and assist with permit approvals.
• Maintain records relating to LOLER inspections, audits, defects and contractor performance.
• Support the management and updating of the lift and escalator asset register.
• Monitor contractor call-outs, repairs and equipment restoration.
• Carry out routine inspections and condition assessments of lifts and escalators.
• Monitor planned maintenance programmes, contractor attendance and service performance.
• Prepare KPI reports, dashboards and operational performance information.
