You will attend emergency breakdowns and restore lift operations safely, while maintaining high standards of service and safety. A strong fault-finding ability, good communication, and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering.
• Proven experience in lift service and emergency callout response.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency callouts and lift breakdowns in your designated area.
• Diagnose, repair, and implement immediate solutions to restore lift service.
• Perform minor adjustments and temporary repairs when necessary.
• Complete accurate service documentation and reports.
• Communicate effectively with the office team and clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction.
• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Maintain your tools, equipment, and company vehicle to high standards.
• Adhere to health & safety regulations and company policies.
