Job summary

KLEEMANN UK GROUP is seeking a reliable Service Engineer to attend customer sites across Bristol, Somerset, and South Wales, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment while minimising downtime. The role involves travel and an on-call rota.

You will join a team focused on delivering high-quality service, with opportunities for overtime, a company vehicle, fuel card, and ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge (electrical experience advantageous).
• Ability to fault find and problem-solve under pressure.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent desirable).

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency breakdowns and service call-outs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Carry out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers on-site.
• Liaise with internal departments regarding parts and follow-up work.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times.
