Schindler Ltd (UK) seeks a Lift Installation Engineer to support new lift installations across Reading to Brighton. You will install lift systems from start to finish on a mix of commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality results.

You will bring recognised lift qualifications (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent), practical installation experience, and a strong focus on safety and customer service. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised lift engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, SVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Proven experience installing lifts on new installation, refurbishment or modernisation projects
• Strong understanding of lift installation techniques, equipment and industry safety requirements
• Effective fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills
• A full driving licence valid for use in the UK
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer service
• Experience working with a variety of lift products and technologies
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning and acceptance inspections
• Experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects
• Additional electrical or mechanical qualifications

Responsabilités

• Install lift systems from initial installation through to completion
• Deliver high-quality installations safely and to the highest standards
• Collaborate with project teams across commercial, residential and infrastructure sites
• Conduct testing, commissioning and inspections per safety requirements
• Maintain clear communication with clients and on-site stakeholders
