Job summary

Schindler Ltd (UK) in Watford is seeking a Lift Installation Engineer to support new lift installations across North West London. You will install lift systems, work with clients and construction teams, and ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires a lift engineering qualification (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and proven installation experience with various lift products. A full UK driving licence is also needed, with a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Install lift equipment and mechanical/electrical components per procedures
• Complete installation, alignment and assembly of lift systems
• Install suspension ropes and critical safety equipment
• Carry out installation inspections and pre-commissioning checks
• Conduct site surveys to support installation delivery
• Update on progress, challenges and resource needs
• Troubleshoot installation issues and implement solutions
• Collaborate with customers, contractors and project teams to deliver outcomes
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship
