Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Lift Engineer based in Paisley to cover a Glasgow-area patch, servicing lifts across commercial, residential and public sites. You’ll handle servicing, fault finding and routine maintenance, attending breakdowns and callouts with support from a local team when needed.

Key requirements include NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence, plus proven service/repair experience.

• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant.
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

You’ll be looking after your own patch - servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Glasgow and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
