Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Lift Engineer to service lifts across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. You will cover a defined patch, perform servicing, repairs and fault finding, and ensure safety and compliance on site, with support from a local team.

A full UK driving licence is required, and NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent is essential. You'll join a team offering a market-aligned salary with a monthly pay cycle, a profit share bonus scheme, generous holiday entitlement, a company van,

Salary Up to £60,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for aLift Service Engineerto cover a route across Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Edinburgh and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
